Weight Watchers

After 2 years going to WW, I became a lifetime member.  This means you have hit and maintained your goal weight for three months.(i think it's three).  This summer marked 2 years at lifetime and 4 years as a WWer. 
Yesterday I peeked in to tell my old leader that I was pregnant!  She was thrilled.  She also told me that I needed to weigh in bc I haven't weighed in as a pregnant woman.  This means I would pay $13 for missing the past months and after the twins are born I can go back FREE for up to three months to get back to my goal weight!
So, here I was this morning picking out my lightest outfit to weigh in!  Weird thing... I was down 1.8 since last time I went!  According to that weight, I have only gained 1.5 lbs this pregnancy.

Time to go eat waffles! ha!

14 weeks

We finally took a profile picture.  Sorry for the messy background and beautiful pjs!  I can really notice the "bump" when I'm lying down.  So cool :)

Although not very comfortable, I can still wear most of my clothes.  Last night I tried the rubber band around the button trick and it worked pretty good!

Realization

Today I was surrounded by inspiring people - historians, leaders, big dreamers and two women in particular.  They have huge hearts and do so much for other people.  I should preface with the fact that I have a very low self esteem and always worry that others will think I'm not good enough, not smart enough or that I will fail.  But tonight, while having a late dinner with these two ladies, I realized one of the reasons I am so excited to be a Mom.... I have never, not even a second, thought I would fail or been scared of failure.  Now, I am speaking before my children are even born, BUT I look forward to that moment where I can take on something I feel passionate about, a moment where I don't have to feel that I am going to fail, or look stupid.  Sure there will be lots of learning to do and many curve balls, but I am ready to take them on!  (I hope I am not putting a huge jinx on my dream!)

On another note, I am sorry for the boring post and lack of pictures...going to find a time tomorrow when I can download and just have a wordless Saturday!

Pregnancy Highlights!

My camera is dead and we keep forgetting to take a profile picture or I will remember when we are turning lights out for bed... hopefully tomorrow!

How far along:  13. 5 weeks
Total Weight loss/gain:  2 lbs
Maternity Clothes:  Not yet! - but I have a feeling they will come soon!
Best moment this week:  scheduling date to find out genders!
Gender: find out Sept 15th!!
Movement: none yet, but at my 12 week u/s I saw them jumping around!! so cool!
Food Cravings:  Mac and Cheese (either Boston Market or Velveta Cups) have been my go to, but pretty much any comfort food.  I still don't have any desire for sweets
What I miss:  A good, cold turkey sandwich and diet coke
Sleep:  Still sleeping pretty good.  Starting to have to get up for br during the night
What I'm looking forward to: next u/s on the 24th

Symptoms:  still get occasional stomach aches and tire easily

Jersey Shore!

So, my laziness continues - still have not uploaded my pictures from Tampa.  We are now headed to the Jersey Shore..not Seaside! Beach Haven!  Super excited for a relaxing week....not looking forward to the drive!
I will have lots of pictures to share when we return!
AND hopefully I will have a pregnancy survey with pictures! YAY!

Movie reviews, u/s, and Tampa

So, it has been a while and I have lots to catch up on!
I'll have to post Tampa pics later bc I am to lazy to upload right now.  Had a great time! Love my best friend and her kiddos!

Had my 12 week u/s today!! Woo Hoo! 1st trimester down, two to go!!
Both babies are doing great and were very bouncy! It was so cool to see them jumping around :)  We get to find out the sex on Sept. 15 - CAN'T WAIT!

This past weekend I saw three movies
1. Inception: I didn't love it but the other 7 people that went loved it!  Maybe I didn't get it!
2. Finally saw the first Sex and the City!! Loved it!
3.  Dinner with Schmucks:  pretty funny, a little long.  Steve Carell is great!
