Batism part II

This morning I was rereading the post I wrote last night and OMG! I must have been exhausted.  The last few sentences made no sense and everything was spelled wrong!

I know I say this all the time, but we are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends! Tonight we read one of our new night time prayer books and look forward to adding them to our night time routine!

Max and Claire get Baptized!

This past weekend was so special.  Max and Claire were baptized.  Our family and closest friends were there to help celebrate committing them to the Lord!  The service was great.  I was a nervous wreck going in to church and praying everything would go well.  It did!  Max and Claire were all smiles.

Claire wore her Aunt Darcy's baptism dress (bonnet was a little small!) and we bought Max a very simple bubble outfit.  They looked so precious!

We were happy Tim was able to do the Baptism.  He married us almost four years ago!

We got two cakes, one for Max and one for Claire then I made some coconut cupcakes!  We also had some bagels, sausage and egg casserole and a beautiful fruit tray.  *side note(  The cleaning lady insisted on making the tray.  She drove 45 minutes just to bring the tray.  She is sooooooooooooo sweet!

Max 5 Months

Can't believe our Max Man is 5 months!  You have been so busy lately.  This week you have been a rolling machine.  I even caught you rocking back and forth then sleeping on your side today.  Daddy caught you rolling over on your play mat and when you did, you put your arms on Claire bear like you were tackling her! We are going to have to keep our eyes out on you!

You smile ALL the time and are still the best snuggler!  I tell people you have to have your "coffee" before other people talk to you when you wake up.  I usually run your belly for a minute, talk to you softly then pick you up to snuggle before leaving the room or talking to you too much.  However, if you are already awake, your face just has a huge grin :) melt my heart!
You are:  wearing a size 2 diaper
wearing 6-9 month clothes
eating 7.5 oz, 5 times a day
you have tried rice cereal, peas and sweet potatoes and don't seem to like food yet
you sleep through the night (8pm-7:15am)
enjoy going for walks with Mommy

Your favorite toys right now are: sophie the giraffe, crinkle books, the exersauver and you still love the play mat :)

Claire 5 Months

Claire, you are so full of personality!  We love watching you.  It seems each day you get more and more vocal!

You are: wearing size 2 diapers
wearing 3-6 month clothes
eating 6.5 oz, 5 times a day
have tried rice cereal, peas and sweet potatoes.  I think you like peas the best!
sleep through the night!! (8pm - 7pm) although this last week you have been waking up around 5:45 then you hang out with Mommy til Max wakes up.
the funniest sleeper! you move all over your crib and often times, sleep on your right arm!

You love to play in the exersaucer and johnny jump up!
You can roll over both ways :)

Big weekend!

The past couple of days have been so busy! Sadly, I don't really have pics to share and I still need to do Max and Claire's individual 5 mo post.  Tomorrow they are getting baptized!  We had a cleaning lady come for the first time and OMG she is awesome!!  She has come three days to get our house ready, even power washing the outside windows!  THEN she asked about what food we were having and I told her and mentioned I was going to make a fruit bowl and she said she used to work with a caterer and would like to make us a fruit tray!  So she is coming by today to drop it off!!  So sweet! AND our house is spotless!
My best friend, and one of Claire's Godmothers has had horrible flight issues.  She got stuck in Miami bc of weather then had to book a flight to Raleigh, which is about an hour and half away and won't get here until like 3 this afternoon.  I feel so bad bc her flight back to Tampa tomorrow is at 3 so we will only see her for less than 24 hours and she has been through hell to get here!! DEDICATION!! that's why she is my bestie!

Justin picked up their cakes for me yesterday and I was very disappointed.  They do not look like they came from a bakery, IMO.  Hopefully the cupcakes I make will turn out nice.

Nap babies, Nap!

Max and Claire 5 Months

I CanNOT believe that our babies are 5 months old today :(  I am sad and happy at the same time!

Each month keeps getting better and better!  They are smiling all the time now :)  The past two weeks they have been super vocal.  It's the sweetest noise.... until it turns to whining and crying :)

Things for me to remember:
They sit supported
Can roll over both ways
Sleeping through the night (usually 8-7)
Taking four naps a day, although I think we are about to drop one
Eating every three hours, but trying to move to four
I am pumping five times a day, but still not able to keep up.  They get two full breast milk bottles, one formula and the other two are 3/4 bm, 1/4 formula
They have tried rice cereal, sweet potatoes, and peas.  Claire seemed to like all three.  Max was not interested!
No teeth yet, but swollen gums causing lots of drool and fingers in mouth

We have a great night time routine.  I bathe Claire, then he takes Claire and brings me Max.  While I bathe Max, he gets Claire's pjs on.  When finished with Max, he puts on his pjs and I start rocking and reading/singing to Claire.  Then both of us sing our Fredrick Family song:
I love you, you love me, we're the Fredrick Family with a F.R.E.D.R.I.C.K, we love you more and more each day!! Then Justin does a remix and adds on!  Then they go in their cribs and we see them in the morning!

It's late, I'm tired and I just got home from the gym.  I am the smart one who decides to go after having a cookie (yes, another cookie), 2 glasses of wine and some pimento cheese appetizer!  Not the most productive workout considering all I had just consumed, but made me feel better :)

I bought this outfit a few months ago and have been dying for him to wear it!  Pants are a little big, but shirt is getting small!  He looked so handsome!!

Tomorrow Max Man and The Bear will be 5 MONTHS!!! Can't believe it!
